Snap Develops an All New Selfie Drone
The company Snap.Inc, the company behind the social network of the generation Y, Snapchat, is about to acquire a Chinese company called Zero Zero Robotics. This is the company that designed the Hover Camera Passport Drone, a 500 dollar drone equipped with a camera that tracks his user wherever he goes! Snapchat would like to take ownership of the firm's technology and market its own drone. What is Snap.Inc behind the head?
In order to maintain its market share, already well threatened by its competitors Instagram Stories and Facebook Messenger, Snap.Inc must compete with ingenuity and offer innovation on its social network. The company does not skimp on the means with the creation for example Shows, this pair of glasses connected able to take snaps while you enjoy life at a price of 149.99 euros.
The next hardware innovation envisioned by the network is a connected drone capable of following you on your adventures and taking your snaps for you. This is not the first time Snapchat has mentioned the possibility of creating your own drone. As such, the social network had already bought the company Ctrl Me Robotics a few months ago.

Snapchat buys new drone company
According to The Information, Snap.Inc would consider offering the technology of a Chinese company that has already designed a drone in the same vein. The Hover Camera Passport is indeed a drone of 242 grams of carbon able to follow and stay close to you while taking snapshots or videos. The user has nothing else to do than enjoy the moment without worrying about his memories.
Currently, the drone of Zero Robotics is on sale at the Apple Store for the tidy sum of 500 dollars. Will Snapchat lower the cost of the device or keep a high price? Will the social network be able to sell such an expensive drone to an audience that is rather young?
